Myra and Omar’s Pakistani Mayoun

I had the amazing opportunity to photograph a vibrant Pakistani wedding celebration known as a Mayoun. The atmosphere was filled with joy as attendees, adorned in yellow attire, came together to honor the newlywed couple. The festivities commenced with a heartwarming welcome, where guests took turns feeding the couple sweets and presenting them with gifts. The night truly came alive with lively dancing, featuring choreographed performances by friends and family. The enchanting melodies of a traditional folk singer gracefully brought the celebrations to a close.
